On Friday my sister, mum and I made a visit to our favourite London museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum. Placed in the heart of opulent South Kensington and Knightsbridge, the museum houses some of the most incredible collections of art, textiles and fashion from around the world. We went along to see one of the most talked about exhibitions the museum has held: Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty. The collection is a retrospective of the late designers work presented in his typical sense of spectacle and drama. Originally held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Savage Beauty became one of the top 10 visited exhibitions, and in London has broken attendance records at the V&A.
After being thoroughly awed at the exhibition, we headed to Harvey Nichols for a cocktails and an delicious dinner at Burger and Lobster.
