Alexander McQueen Exhibition at the V&A

On Friday my sister, mum and I made a visit to our favourite London museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum. Placed in the heart of opulent South Kensington and Knightsbridge, the museum houses some of the most incredible collections of art, textiles and fashion from around the world. We went along to see one of the most talked about exhibitions the museum has held: Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty. The collection is a retrospective of the late designers work presented in his typical sense of spectacle and drama. Originally held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Savage Beauty became one of the top 10 visited exhibitions, and in London has broken attendance records at the V&A.
After being thoroughly awed at the exhibition, we headed to Harvey Nichols for a cocktails and an delicious dinner at Burger and Lobster.

Three Years Later...

For the last three years I have been at university studying History and Geography. My time there has been amazing. Keeping up with my studies and living away from home in a new city was, at times, challenging. However, overall the countless experiences (both good and bad) have culminated in an incredible learning experience and one that I wouldn't trade for the world. Last Sunday my efforts were finally rewarded as I walked onto the stage in front of my friends and family to collect that piece of paper certifying that I had graduated.
Now comes the difficult task of deciding what to do next...

Hola Amigos

Hey bloggers,
Sorry for the long absence! I have recently finished university (hooray!) and have been enjoying being back at home with my family. I have also been lucky enough to go on a couple of holidays. In June I flew into sunny Larnaca, Cyprus to visit my gran. Then, just a week later, I was off to Gran Canaria with my friends from university. We had such a fab time soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the gorgeous Spanish cusine. Here are some of my snaps from the holiday:

Floral Nights

I absolutely love online shopping. What's better than sitting in the comfort of your home, with a steaming cup of tea, browsing online stores at your own pace without the hassle of pushy crowds? My favourite things to look at online are shoes and I have just now found a new way to help fuel my shoe obsession: Online Avenue! This web-store has hundreds of gorgeous shoes ranging from sandals to boots to stilettos. My favourite pair on Online Avenue are the Dolcis High Heels in white and blue (they also come in gold and tan!) I can already tell that these beauties are going to be a staple item for my spring/summer wardrobe! I took the Dolcis peep toes on their first outing on Saturday night for a dinner out in London, here's how I styled them:

I'm wearing:
Dolcis Sandals | Online Avenue
Clutch | ASOS
'Molly' Jeans | River Island
Kimono | Miss Selfridge
Cami | River Island

I've already spotted another pair of heels on Online Avenue that I just have to order! So I'm sure another post is soon to follow this...
